My first attempt at full-color cel animation, each around a half-minute in length. They follow a varied cast of human and animal characters, in a cartoon world inspired by the classics.

Don’t call him Froggy. Humans and animals walk side by side in this world, and this particular dapper frog drives a large automobile and brandishes a revolver. First imagined in the painting below, most of his story revolves around his daily trials to overcome his small stature. An allegory for accessibility.

After stumbling across a litter of coyote pups, Batter becomes their protector, and often joins in as they raise hell across the city. Looking as if she just stepped off the field, no one quite knows if she’s heading to or coming from the Big Game.

The consummate athlete, Batter never misses a chance to swing, and most likely, she’ll connect. Her coyote pups, used to the free roaming desert brushland, find the city a delightful playground to run amok.

Leo lives with his grandfather. One day, he comes home to find a Duck sitting on the sofa watching TV. His grandpa smiles and points, “She said she needs to find her rabbit friend. I thought we could help her.” Seemingly in no hurry, the Duck nods and kicks her feet. Leo says nothing and walks to his room. In no position to complain, Leo wearily accepts his new housemate. The Duck goes on to suggest several outings, to which grandpa happily agrees to, such as the park and the arcade.

Valerie, searching in vain for some direction in her life, finds a loose rabbit hopping around a streetcar station.

In this world, the talking, walking animals will sometimes change back to their more natural form. Why this happens is unknown.

Leo catches wind of a young woman seen around town with a pet rabbit. Desperate to be rid of the Duck houseguest, he sets out to find the woman, but perhaps stalking through the mall and confronting her wasn’t the best strategy?

A veteran of RV travel, the Rabbit invites Val on a trip to the desert.
